» COVID-19 HUB – Information, Innovation and Implementation of Integrative Research Works

Aim

The overall objective of the project is to conduct research focused on solving medico-biological issues related to COVID-19.

The project is implemented in partnership with the Medical University – Plovdiv.

Biological and biomedical studies of SARS-CoV2, including the structure and organization of the virus, its mode of penetration into the body and cells, and mechanisms of intracellular transmission.
Development of therapies for the treatment of coronavirus infection and vaccines for the prevention of SARS-CoV2 infection, proven in in vivo models.
Development of research models for virus monitoring in real conditions and new diagnostic tools for specific detection of SARS-CoV2.
