Seventeen young talents have joined the GATE team to develop their knowledge and skills in the field of big data and artificial intelligence in the coming months. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, they will work in the Institute’s application areas of “Future Cities” and “Disinformation Detection and Research”, as well as on the GATE Big data platform.
During the internship, they will encounter real case studies and, together with GATE researchers, they will work on innovative projects such as the “City digital twin”. It develops intelligent models that support planning, design, simulation and analysis of all city dimensions by leveraging the full potential of Big Data and AI.
The director of GATE, Prof. Silvia Ilieva, presented the activities of the Institute and wished the trainees to achieve high results in their work.
