GATE Institute is co-hosting the GATE-AEC Hackathon Sofia with the renowned AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) Hackathon organizers, marking the first of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe. Anticipating participants from around the world, the event takes place from December 8th to 10th, 2023.
The AEC Hackathon, initiated in 2013, has grown into a global force, bridging the gap between technology and professionals shaping our built environment. This dynamic event has expanded beyond AEC to encompass all facets of the built environment.
During this immersive weekend, participants collaborate, connect, and gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools provided by generous supporters, sponsors, and peers. Coding is not a prerequisite; all that’s needed is a collaborative spirit and a passion for problem-solving.
In addition to the hackathon from Friday to Sunday, engaging presentations on Saturday offer insight into the latest tech trends and industry solutions.
With over 50 global events, the AEC Hackathon is the premier platform for open innovation in the built environment.
The AEC Hackathon has cultivated a thriving global community, encompassing experts, volunteers, partners, and sponsors from multiple continents. Participants from abroad, various Bulgarian cities, industry experts, global AEC Hackathon contributors, VIP guests, and GATE partners representing diverse European organizations and universities, are expected.
