The Second GATE’s Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Forum (BDAIF2021) will take place on 8 and 9 December 2021 as an online event. It aims to share exciting scientific results and technological achievements, present diverse perspectives, create opportunities to connect to the research and innovation community and encourage new collaborations. The event is organized jointly by the GATE Institute, Bulgaria and Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden.
BDAIF2021 will demonstrate how Big Data and AI can help to tackle pressing societal and economic challenges in the context of the GATE targeted domains: Future Cities, Digital Health and Intelligent Government. The two visionary, high-level panels on the first day are dedicated to Data Spaces and Ethical, Explainable and Trustworthy AI. The three insightful panels on the second day are focusing on Digital Twin City, Digital Health and Disinformation. The panels will be opened with keynotes by outstanding researchers and innovators, followed by inspiring interventions of prominent international speakers and interesting discussions on co-operation and value creation with stakeholders. During the two days of the event, GATE researchers will demonstrate their exciting work and remarkable results through short video pitches that will be presented between the panels. The event will also offer a lot of interaction possibilities within the GATE Ecosystem and the broader community.
GATE BDAIF2021 aims to leverage the potential of the innovative Bulgarian Big Data and AI ecosystem and to achieve a significant local and European impact.
