For a third consecutive year, GATE took part in Tuk-Tam Kosher 2022 – a global meeting of ideas, business and friends. The event took place on September 16, 2022 at Inter-Expo-Center and online worldwide.
GATE was presented with a stand, where researchers from the Institute demonstrated project results in “Future cities” and “Digital Health” application areas. The 3D model of the city of Sofia developed by GATE in the application area “Cities of the Future” aroused the interest of visitors to the Institute’s stand. Curious to know more details, they peppered the GATE researchers with questions, who were happy to tell them about their work.
Assoc. Prof. Milena Dobreva and researcher Ruslana Margova captured the audience’s attention with a challenging interactive game dedicated to disinformation. The GATE workshop “How to become a fact-checker?” Effectively Detecting Misinformation Online’ packed the SkillsLab hall at Tuk-Tam Kosher 2022.
The event provided an opportunity for GATE researchers to meet potential partners and make useful contacts.
