GATE took part in the forum for career development of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics (FMI) of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski ”, which took place in the period 23 – 25 June 2020.
The team of the institute organized a virtual event and a pavilion in the park in front of the FMI building. The participants in the virtual event got acquainted with the projects being developed by the institute and met with the researchers working on them. The opportunities for career development offered by the Institute and its internship program, in particular, attracted many young people to the GATE’s pavilion.
The eleventh consecutive FMI Career Forum passed under the motto “I know and I want to prove it”. The organizer of the event is the FMI Career Centre, and media partners are ComputerWorld and Careers. Due to the extraordinary epidemic situation in the country, it was held virtually, and interested companies had the opportunity to participate with a real pavilion in the park in front of the FMI building, with all necessary preventive measures. Twenty-six organizations attended the event, to which were invited the students of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski ”, as well as all other students looking for professional realization in the field of Information technologies.
