GATE participated in the First European Teaming Conference that took place at the end of October in Limassol, Cyprus. The event gathered all 24 European Centres of Excellence (CoEs), funded under the Horizon 2020 “Teaming for Excellence” Programme, representatives of the European Commission and the Research Executive Agency, as well as stakeholders from the national research and innovation ecosystem in Cyprus
GATE was represented by its Director Prof. Sylvia Ilieva and Irena Pavlova, EU Programmes Manager.
The event provided a great environment for sharing experiences in dealing with challenges and lessons learned, as well as for discussing the impact of CoEs on the national innovation ecosystems and the recovery and resilience endeavours.
Prof. Ilieva took part in the insightful panel focused on sustainability, where interesting views were shared on Governance, Business model development, Communication and Extroversion as key elements to ensure stable future prospects of the CoEs.
