The young talents who worked in the “Discovery and research of disinformation” proposed innovative approaches for recognizing automatically generated texts in Bulgarian. The built models achieved high accuracy, and the joint work of the participants led to concrete results that are about to be presented in a scientific publication. Trainees have been offered the opportunity to further their careers at GATE, with one already joining the team.

Interns in the field of digital health impressed with their rapid acquisition of new knowledge and dedication to scientific work. In a short period of time, they have achieved remarkable results and will continue to work on their projects. A paper is planned for publication, and the team is also considering opportunities for more significant scientific publications in the future.

In the “Cities of the Future” application area, trainees worked successfully on projects related to urban environment and urbanization, and most of them will continue to develop their research. Among the upcoming publications are studies on transportation systems, the impact of subways on urbanization, environmental analysis through remote sensing, and predictions of the future of land cover in urban environments.

The GATE Internship Programme has provided a platform for young talents to reveal their capabilities and contribute to meaningful research projects. The success of the participants shows that the program not only develops the research potential of young people, but also affirms GATE as a key centre for innovation and scientific research in Bulgaria.
