The activities in GATE’s Digital Health domain are based on the experience of our researchers related to the creation of methods from all areas of human knowledge, using Data analytics, AI, ML, DL, system identification and analysis, dynamic models, biostatistics, bioinformatics and their application for solving real biomedical problems. The approach is known as Translational Medicine [TM]. TM aims to improve human health and longevity by determining the relevance to human disease of novel discoveries in Data Science, Informatics, Mathematics, Physical Sciences and Life Sciences.
