Aleksandar has a master’s degree in Landscape Architecture and graduated from the University of Forestry, Sofia. He specialized in landscaping and production of ornamental plants on forest farms in Oregon, USA.

In the period 2012-2013, he was an expert in the project “Mapping and determining the conservation status of natural habitats and species” under the Natura 2000 – Bulgaria programme. Since the beginning of 2018, he has been in the team of “Sofiaplan”, a municipal enterprise responsible for the spatial and strategic planning of Sofia Municipality. In parallel, since the fall of 2019, Aleksandar has been a part-time lecturer at UACEG – Sofia.

In the spring of 2021, he became a co-founder of the OneTree Foundation, which aims to improve the management of green infrastructure in urban areas through broad civic involvement.

Aleksandar is interested in topics such as generative grammar, artificial intelligence and process optimization.
