GATE Institute organizes a “Winter Workshop on Recognizing False Information and Disinformation” under the TRACES project.
The training will take place on January 25 and 26, 2023 in the city of Sofia in the Mirror Hall of the Rectorate of the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, Sofia.

Beginners will learn new and useful information, and those with experience will understand how to recognize fake news by the way it is written or spoken and whether there are automatically generated texts (deepfakes) in Bulgarian.
The event is open to journalists and citizens with an active interest in the topic.
Speakers will be established Bulgarian specialists who will introduce you to useful tools and methods for recognizing false information, as well as the legal aspects related to the topic. Participants will receive certificates of participation.
A limited number of participants from other settlements in the country will be covered for travel expenses and 2 nights in Sofia.
