GATE was presented in a TV conference “Education and Business: Innovation vs. Conspiracies”, in a discussion on “Data Protection and How Artificial Intelligence is Changing Business Models ”. The conference was broadcast on Bulgaria ON AIR TV on October 20, 2020.
The forum seeks different opinions in various fields of science, economics and the online community on whether knowledge is sufficient to understand the truth. It was attended by representatives of academia, banks and business.
GATE was represented by the director of the Institute Prof. Silvia Ilieva. She outlined the application areas of the Institute and the role of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence for their development. Prof. Ilieva also pointed out the perspectives that open up for young people who have chosen to develop their scientific careers at the GATE Institute. “Young people are the ones who fill me with optimism and make me believe that we will succeed,” said Prof. Ilieva.
